Phillip Day was born in England in 1960. He was educated at Selwyn and Charterhouse, and throughout his twenties had a successful entrepreneurial career founding businesses in sales and marketing. With a firm grounding in the ways of the media, Phillip's research career began after he became interested in wars going on in the realms of health and politics over issues that were being deliberately withheld or misreported to the public.
Phillip Day heads up the publishing and research organisation Credence, now located in many countries around the world, which collates the work provided by researchers in many fields. Credence's intention is to work with the establishments and organisations concerned to resolve issues that are harming the public, and to provide the necessary information for citizens to make their own informed choices in these vital matters. Phillip's speaking schedule takes him to audiences all over the world.

Dr Verkerk is an internationally-acclaimed expert in sustainability, with 25 years of experience particularly in the areas of agriculture and healthcare. He has a Masters Degree and Doctorate from Imperial College London, where he also worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow for 7 years. He has extensive international experience, having worked especially in Asia, Africa, Europe, Australasia and North and Central America.
He has acted as an advisor to governments but has always maintained strong connections with NGOs. Dr Verkerk founded the ANH in 2002 which brought the unique combination of scientific, medical and legal expertise to the NGO sector working to protect natural health and 'alternative' medicine. He has been its Scientific and Executive Director ever since. Dr Verkerk is Patron of the College of Naturopathic Medicine, scientific advisor to the American Association for Health Freedom and the National Health Federation in the US.
He is active within the Risk Assessment Electronic Working Group of the Codex Committee on Nutrition and Foods for Special Dietary Uses and is actively involved with consultations with the European Commission, the European Food Safety Authority, the UK government and the Food and Agricultural Organization and World Health Organization of the United Nations. Rob provides regular articles and columns to a range of natural health and lifestyle publications, including Positive Health and the CAMclub eNewsletter.

Dr Robert Verkerk, since leaving his position as a research fellow at Imperial College London some six years ago, has become one of the world's leading crusaders for natural health. In his presentation, he will demonstrate how governments and industry have coerced to form regulatory and scientific frameworks that are increasingly stifling our ability to practice one of our most fundamental rights, that of natural health. While the establishment has had to make some attempt to acknowledge and prioritise sustainable and ecologically-based approaches to damaging industries such as energy, agriculture, construction and even tourism, orthodox healthcare, the most destructive industry known to human health, is doing everything it can to kill off therapeutic approaches to natural health and healing. In some cases, traditions that are thousands of years old are now acutely threatened.
Rob Verkerk will show you how a kind of 'double jeopardy', based out of a misuse of both science and law, has been used to discriminate against the use of nature and its great diversity of products in the pursuit of health. It's only with an understanding of the problem that change can be initiated.

After working for a few years in the family aviation business in London Tony decided to have a go at radio journalism. He has worked at Greater London Radio, the BBC's station for London , BBC Radio Solent (as a reporter) and BBC Wiltshire Sound, where he worked as a presenter and documentary maker.
Having gained first-hand experience of the constraints placed upon the mainstream media, Tony became involved with environmental campaigning, volunteering at Land Rights group 'The Land Is Ours', helping to organise land occupations in the mid to late 1990's and lecturing on land rights history.
ony is now a freelance journalist specialising in terrorism and Vice-Chair of the Bristol branch of the National Union of Journalists. I joined the Religious Society of Friends, or Quakers, in June 2005 and delivered his first lecture on The Secret World Government in October 2006.

Peter Taylor
Peter has a long background as an ecological consultant for government agencies and independent companies, including Greenpeace. Today he is equally involved in yoga and healing and tries to combine both the scientific and spiritual sides of his life where he can! Peter is concerned that the prevailing models of climate change don't take changing astronomical influences into account and he is currently writing a book to help widen out the debate.

Geoff Stray has been studying the meaning of 2012 for over 20 years, and will look at a few of the theories that have been suggested to explain the meaning behind the 2012 prophecies, and will demonstrate the need for discernment - that we should not believe everything we are offered, since these theories often fall apart when scrutinized carefully. Holly's background includes a physics degree, marketing in a large computer company, teaching English as a foreign language in the far east, twenty years raising four children as naturally as possible in the modern world, breastfeeding counselling, the Green Party, study of astrology and shamanism, and a diploma in clinical hypnotherapy. Her fascination has been the nature of reality, human nature and how the human race can regain a profound sense of connection and wellbeing. On moving to Totnes in 1997 she began to make some very fundamental connections between nutrition and our state of consciousness.
In 2001 she and her youngest two children began to eat a completely raw food diet. She is well known in raw food circles, having been a raw food caterer, teaching raw food preparation, speaking at events and writing for magazines. She is now dedicated full-time to researching and communicating the connection between food, herbs, other energetic influences and our experience on this planet. David Halpin is one of the UK's most remarkable 'unknown heroes'. A former Consultant Orthopaedic & Trauma Surgeon at Torbay Hospital & Princess Elizabeth Orthopaedic Hospital, David Halpin is probably best known for being one of the signatories to the letter published in both The Lancet and the Guardian (January 2004) questioning the official version of events surrounding Dr. David Kelly's alleged suicide. However, David's real passion is his long-standing concern for world affairs & aversion to social injustice; qualities which were the driving forces behind him establishing the 'Dove & Dolphin' Charity (No. 1100119), which serves to '. relieve poverty, distress and hardship among the Palestinian people and to promote the welfare of Palestinian children'.
